The Best Gift

I was so excited that my brother and sister-in-law asked me to come over to take pictures of my brand new niece.  Just one week old, she has already captured my heart for eternity.

In-The-Palm-of-His-Hands

Oh, how I love her tiny piggies!  You know something funny?  She totally has my toes.  How can an auntie and a niece have the same toes?  Wild!My toes!

Little Paige Kaylee surprised us all and made her big debut on Christmas Eve… three weeks early.  She is healthy and perfect weighing in at seven pounds and eleven ounces.

I made a little announcement for them.

birth announcement

Baby Paige was our best Christmas gift ever. (Don’t tell anyone, but my green Le Creuset baking dish from Kahuna played a close second.  Ha!)

Encourage one another,

Angela, I used Photoshop Elements 7 to make the collage. I just imported my pics and pasted them onto a new document. Then I resized them and scattered them around to make the collage. Thanks for asking.

Any more Q's just ask! :)

Holy WOW! Three weeks early and still weighing almost 8 pounds!!! What a big beautiful baby!! Love the pics! Newborn photos are always one of my favorites. I just can't get enough, but doing newborn sessions isn't always as fun as the pictures turn out to be. ;) lol TFS... I didn't see any pics of that new baking dish though....

These are absolutely stunning shots. How did you do the lighting? Was it natural?
Your niece is gorgeous, and she would have been BIG on time! lol

Pineapple Princess said...

Hi, Tiffany. Thanks! You are so sweet.
Yes, natural lighting. I just had my brother stand by the window. I also draped a piece of black velvet over his lap.
Any more Q's just ask. I'm no pro by any means. I'm having so much fun learning the ropes.
Do you have any suggestions for me? I'd love to learn!

Hey girl! I love the pictures. You have a gift. Did you edit at all? I'm wondering if I should buy lightroom...it seems to be a favorite with several for editing.
