Oh, man! I am SO BAD. I am sitting here eating the Halloween KitKats that I hid from myself in the freezer. Dang! These are GOOD!!!
Oh, shoot! How many did I eat? Based on the pile of empty wrappers on the counter, I think I did some damage. Whatever... Chocolate makes me happy today... It's the little things, right?
I'm avoiding going to the grocery store, so I'm trying to decide what to make for dinner tonight with what I've got on hand.
I've got it!
Here's what's on the menu for dinner tonight:
Breadstick Mummy Dogs
and
Oozing Apple Monster Mouths
You can find the recipes HERE.
Niiice! I may nominate myself for mom of the month now. Never mind, I think that award already belongs to Susie (Clickety HERE). She transforms her whole stinkin' house into a haunted house for the month of October- with dance floor! I'm a loser.
I'll leave you with a little Halloween "Harvest Moon" pic just because I love y'all...
Have a happy Tuesday!!!
... and eat some chocolate!

Staci, I can't emphasize enough the importance of chocolate to a mother's daily survival. We had to large bags of mixed chocolate Halloween candy in the freezer in the garage. I've already finished one bag in about two weeks time and am currently working on the other.
How's my Ass look? Don't answer that.
Love ya
Suzanne
You ALWAYS seem to make me laugh!! You are too funny!
I love the Halloween dinner! I may have to try those recipes!
love the halloween dinner. I think we will try it. . . eat tons of chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks fot the ideas! We will definately be making these.
I can honestly say that I have never seen a scarecrow do that, and I live in East Tennessee. You are hilarious! We do not celebrate Halloween, so I can not even use that as an excuse for the vast amounts of chocolate that I consume :)
Oh I so need that scarecrow for my front yard!!
Hehe...you are definitely mom of the month...we had chicken nuggets last night.
One year I bought the candy early and I ate it ALL before Halloween...had to go out and buy more the day before. The next year we locked the candy in the safe and my husband took the combo and kept it in his desk at work...seriously. :)
Jen :)
Oh Staci, you are sooo funny. I think you are absolutely one of the coolest Mom's ever, and I am 100% positive your husband and kids would agree. I love to decorate, but cooking is not my thing, so I am excited to check out your recipes and give them a shot. Thanks for the scarecrow laugh. Good one. Susie
I thought chocolate WAS a new food group requiring at least 6 servings a day:) I love the spooktacular dinner..too cute!
Great ideas for Halloween fun! Thanks for the link...and the harvest moon...ha ha!
On a heavier note, I'm just devastated hearing about your friend's baby...lately I've been hearing about babies with leukemia and it just breaks my heart. Thanks for sharing her blog with me.
