Going for Gold!

Edited to add: My boys made me proud by earning the silver medal yesterday. Well done!
Overall... nice job, China. Now get cracking on that smog!
YAHOO! The US Men's water polo team has made it all the way to the finals! Our country hasn't won the gold medal for men's water polo since 1904. Our team will be playing for GOLD this Sunday. If you haven't already, check out (Head Coach) Terry's blog for the play by play. Clickety HERE.

I am soooo addicted to the Olympics. Rooting for all sorts of sports I never watch until now. It makes me sooooo incredibly proud to be an American. Everytime I hear the Star Spangled Banner I just tear up. And then, to be able to give the opportunity to be called an American to our kids.....boy....doesn't get any better.

Also, I had to make my blog private so if you would send me an e-mail I would love to send you an invite! guate_mama05 @ yahoo.com

i would love to comment on how adorable your daughter is. I am an avid peeker of the blogs for my sister adopted a boy also and she has links to others and i love to sit at work and look at the children(maybe i should be working...lol), they are so sweet. I recently had a daughter ( june 10th) of my own after my 1st child turned 19teen. this one was a suprise we didnt think we could have anymore but god had a plan for us not to be alone after the 1st went off to college. anyways the reason for me writing is to ask were on earth you got the adorable head bands for your daughter. I would love to know they look so cute. You can email me @ lpisanko@dualrefrigeration.com or reply to this comment i will check back for your reply. thank you lisa

Lisa,

First of all, congratulations on the birth of your baby girl. That is so exciting! What a special(surprise) blessing God sent to you!

You will love the headbands. You can find them at www.bloomingbows.com. You can even order them in newborn sizes. The headbands are total show-stoppers, so get ready for lots of ooh's and aah's. It's so fun!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the sweetest comments about Isabella. Let me know when you get your headbands. I'd love to see pictures!!!

Blessings,
Stacy
