A Sign From God?

Last Sunday was our last day at the Grand Tikal. On the last day of a visit trip I always feel a little glum... happy for the time with Isabella, but dreading the moment I have to put her back into her crib at her orphanage and kiss her goodbye. It makes me sad to think about it.

This last Sunday as we were preparing to pack up and leave, I asked God for a sign to comfort my heart. There was a big, rockin' church service down the hall in the hotel. We decided to bring Isabella and check it out. On the way in, up on the wall, was a huge sign with a verse from Isaiah 41:10. Since Spanish is my second language, I immediately recognized the verse and knew the verse was for ME to comfort my heart. I wasn't expecting an actual "SIGN" up on the wall of the hotel as God's way of speaking to me! Nevertheless, I am clinging to this verse today.

I think God is trying to tell me, "Don't panic. I'm with you. There's no need to fear because I'm your God. I'll give you strength. I'll help you."

Thank you for sharing this verse, Stacy. I needed this tonight. We too look to our great Comforter and Protector for peace. Tonight I cried for Katherine. I am listening and I am hearing. Thank you for your prayers. Love, Gina

How funny! Sometimes God's signs are subtle, but apparently God wanted to be sure you DID NOT miss this one! HA HA! :)

I think God loves to give us hints and reminders when we need them the most.
